Matthew McConaughey & Camila Alves’ Son Is Going to Be Disappointed with His Mom’s New Job
Matthew McConaughey's son, Levi, has a lot to be excited for in his life. First, his dad is a beloved Oscar-winning actor. Second, his mom, Camila Alves is now working with Target, and who wouldn't be thrilled over that? Well, Levi is (because he is a smart boy), and he gave the most adorable reaction when hearing about his mom's new job at Tarjay.
When Levi, 6, learned of his mom's new career, he thought she'd be wearing that famous red shirt and working the cash register, Alves told People.
When I told Levi I was going to work with Target his eyes lit up and he was like, "Mom, are you gonna wear the red shirt?" and I was like, "What do you mean the red shirt, Levi?" He goes, "The red shirt from the register! You’re gonna work at the register right?" It was so sweet, the cutest thing ever, that he’s so innocent, he thought Mama’s gonna work at the register at Target!
Sadly, no, she won't be working the cash register, but she joked that she just might have to get a Target shirt and work checkout for her son. Seriously, how sweet is his reaction? I can totally understand why he'd be excited. Target is da bomb. I can get lost in that store for hours, and to have your mom working there? Yeah, I totally get where he's coming from.
With that said, Alves is partnering with the company as a mom ambassador, so she can spread her voice as a busy, working mom by partaking in Target events and writing for the store's blog, A Bullseye View. "I'm a very busy woman, I’m a mother of three, so I’ve learned a little bit in every segment of life — beauty, kids, cooking — and I want to share it in a way that it is accessible, affordable and fun for everybody," she said.
And with all this Target talk, I'll leave you with this.
