The eminent moment all Nasty Gal shoppers have been waiting for has finally arrived. As of this week, Nasty Gal Melrose is open after an abundance of anticipation and teasing Instagram pictures. With this historic event, the anguish of receiving that novelty cutout bra top in the mail you had to have, only to find out that your online size guesstimate was entirely wrong is a thing of the past. Now, you can finally try the freakin' thing on! Oh, joy! Oh, rapture!
In her next move to achieve #Girlboss world domination, Sophia Amoruso christened the first brick-and-mortar store of her wildly successful brand on Melrose Avenue in Hollywood. At the store's launch party on Thursday, celebs and normals alike flooded the space. Some of the celebrity shoppers included Charlize Theron, Azalea Banks, Christina Milian who all posed for pictures with Amoruso, then joined the throng of to peruse for Jeffrey Campbells and vintage Chanel jewelry. Friday was the store's official opening day, the ribbon-cutting ceremony, and a morning that warranted custom Nasty Gal doughnuts.
The 30-year old CEO has been chronicling the store's opening for months on social media, getting even LA residents and out-of-owners alike amped for this much-anticipated opening.
