Little Girl Starts Dance Party In Subway Station

It's easy in the grind of 9-to-5 to take for granted all the amazing things that are going on around you. I think it's safe to say that the majority of us would rather smash our headphones into our ears than pay attention to aforementioned world. But this ridiculously awesome video of a little girl starting a dance party in a New York subway station shows the magic that happens when we all forget for a second about our crazy schedules and stop trying to be "cool" long enough to actually appreciate what is going on around us.

It's a dance party for the ages, and one you don't even have to be sorry you missed, because several good samaritans managed to get it on video. The subway stop where it all goes down is Bedford Avenue in Williamsburg (Side note: This is the subway stop for Bustle's office, so we're all pretty upset that we somehow missed out on this), and the song that got everybody moving and grooving was a cover of "Me And My Uncle" by the Grateful Dead. And while the original version of the song is great, this cover by Coyote & Crow is so lively that I don't know how the people in the background who weren't dancing managed to stay in one place. Even just watching the video you can't help your urge to rage.

The best part of the dance party by far is the little tot in the bright pink jacket who jumps and breaks it down and is basically the epitome of the quote "dance like nobody's watching." She's like the Energizer Bunny. You could harness the energy off of this one tiny human and probably power up the entire subway. If you don't believe me, you'll have to watch this heartwarming and adorable dance party yourself:
