The royals have landed. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge arrived in New York City, and while everyone is buzzing about Kate and Will's NYC itinerary and her baby bump, we need to talk about her outfit. Because THAT COAT THOUGH.

The three-day royal tour has begun, and Kate Middleton arrived at the Carlyle Hotel on Sunday night wearing the most perfect winter coat. I mean, I was skeptical about her fashion for this tour, because I live in New York City. It is cold right now. Good luck going outside without layers upon layers, and those only hides the stylish outfits underneath. But this coat is a statement in and of itself. The Duchess wore a custom boucle 'Marina' coat by the maternity label Seraphine. The glittering, burgundy coat was empire line and draped, so it was incredibly flattering on her tiny baby bump. With opaque tights, black booties, and even some black mittens, Kate looked not only fashion appropriate, she was weather appropriate, something many celebrities often sacrifice in the name of style.

Now, I'm not pregnant, but I do want this coat in my closet ASAP, and I can't wait for tmore of her winter style inspiration as their trip continues.
