Emily Blunt's 'Into the Woods' Style Is Fab

by Rosie Narasaki

Don't you love it when celebrities dress a little on theme when presenting their movies? There was that time Angelina Jolie and Elle Fanning went all method on the Maleficent press tour, looking like an evil queen and a naif/princess respectively, then there was Fan Bingbing on the X-Men: Days of Future Past red carpet dressed like the illegitimate child of superherodom and couture — and now we have Ms. Emily Blunt looking like something straight out of a fairy tale at the world premiere of Into the Woods .

She stepped out in sheer black Dolce & Gabbana, and everything about the dress — from the Swiss dots, to the full, tea-length skirt, and finally, to the giant red roses carefully arranged all over the gown — was perfectly on theme for the movie (no one does whimsically lovely quite like Dolce & Gabbana). And it worked right? Who doesn't want to look just a little bit... well, magical on the red carpet?

Add in an impeccable makeup job (fresh-faced with coral blush and sharp, clean black eyeliner and a touch of metallic copper shadow, yet regal with a deep red lipstick), and you've got a look that is very hard to beat. Do you think Blunt will be able to outdo herself? Let's hope so!
