It's no secret that LC is majorly talented. Both in design and styling, our favorite girl-next-door reality star turned designer knows what she's doing when it comes to stitching threads, and she's proven to be quite successful at it. Following her release of a Holiday line, Lauren Conrad launched her December collection for Kohl's on Tuesday.

Although the line is released amidst a season of gloomy snowy weather, the designs are a breath of a fresh air from the usual opaque monotones seen for Winter. Conrad announces on her blog, "we had so much fun shooting the collection at a gorgeous home on the beach in Malibu (tough day on the job!)". A December fashion shoot on the beach? Must be nice to live in Cali. The location does however reflect the line's nod to Spring, evident in the pastel hues, white linens, and floral designs. For those of us not living in sunny California, the pieces still do have a touch of true December, combining darker shades and fabrics with lighter ones. Who says winter wardrobe has to be all somber sweaters and wool?

You can see the full collection at laurenconrad.com, available to purchase at khols.com and starting at a low price of $20.99! Not too shabby, LC.
