'RHOA's Porsha Williams Was Arrested... Again
Up until the latter part of the last season of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, former full-time cast member Porsha Williams had a pretty decent standing on the scale of housewives behavior, which typically ranges from rather dramatic to certified bonkers. Aside from the fact that she's, um, on a reality show, Williams came off as a pretty harmless character—that is, until she attacked Kenya Moore during the reunion show. As of lately, the 33-year-old seems to have gravitated more towards the dark side of reality TV, and the fact that Williams was arrested for speeding and driving with a suspended license certainly doesn't help much. Let's just hope that she doesn't resort to extreme tactics both off and onscreen as a way to become a permanent peach-holder again.
Honestly, there isn't a housewife in history who's remained above the fray. If they're out there, they should expect a pink slip any moment now. I love the crazy antics they bring us every week, but they should only go so far in order to keep the drama going. Not getting arrested seems like a nice place to draw the line, although Williams has been there and done that twice since signing up for RHOA. She's also gone from a wannabe Stepford wife to allegedly dating a married man. And for some reason, she's been incredibly rude to new cast members Claudia Jordan and Demetria McKinney, followed by committing what is possibly the worst ATL housewife infraction ever—aligning herself out with NeNe Leakes, whose history of doomed friendships suggests that this temporary bond with Williams won't end well.
The only good thing about Williams' arrest is that she appeared to be somewhat remorseful for the incident. "I was wrong for speeding absolutely and apologize for putting anyone at risk," she said. Williams also admitted that "handcuffs are not comfortable or a good look for anyone."
Great point, Porsha. Keep bringing the drama, minus the mugshots.
