Khloe Kardashian's NYE Was a Family Affair

When it comes to the Kardashians, there's this general expectation for them to do absolutely everything over the top, which is a direct result of their routinely outlandish antics, like trying to break the Internet with a single photo or becoming romantically involved with French Montana. So when they do normal, down-to-Earth stuff that has nothing to do with press releases, paparazzi and red carpet appearances, it's actually kind strange, yet refreshing. For instance, take a look at how Khloé Kardashian spent New Year's Eve. While Ed Sheeran partied with cats and One Direction and Pitbull fell on stage after sampling one too many cocktails, Khloé rang in the new year at home with her brother Rob while watching the movie Gone Girl.

The youngest Kardashian sister shared a sweet throwback photo on Instagram of herself and Rob as two cuddly kids, with the caption, "I brought in the New Year with my best friend in the entire world @robkardashian! We just finished watching Gone Girl at home! The perfect way to start off the year with my perfect boy ❤️ Gone Girl was one CRAZY ass movie! Definitely a must see! Stay safe out there!!! Xo."

In addition to her sisters Kim and Kourtney, who also spent the evening at home, Khloé had a surprisingly tame beginning to 2015, especially compared to how some of these other celebrities rang in the new year. The quiet movie night with her brother may be attributed to the fact that she got her partying out of the way earlier in the week on Tuesday, when she hosted at a bash 1Oak in Las Vegas.

On the other hand, maybe she supports the belief that whatever you're doing when the clock strikes midnight is what you'll be doing all year long, but I'm pretty sure that her 2015 will involve a little more than chilling on the couch with her brother. Either way, Khloé spending New Year's Eve with her brother is a sweet way to show that her family comes first.
