J.Lo Has Amazing Things to Say About Single Life

by Marenah Dobin

Let's be real: Jennifer Lopez has never been hotter. Somehow, it seems she's cracked the code of how to look more and more amazing with every day that passes, and her career is really going at full speed right now. Even better, though, are her life philosophies: Considering this the longest that we've seen J.Lo without a boyfriend in some time, of course everyone wants to know who she is going to date next — Jennifer Lopez, however, has such great things to say about being single, it doesn't look like anyone's going to get an answer to that question soon.

As Lopez told Us Weekly, "I'm single right now. I think being on my own has been really great for me. There was a time where I was just like 'Ehhh, I'm just not going to deal with anybody, I just want to be on my own.' Now I'm getting back into the mix. For right now, I just have no announcements to make." PREACH, GIRL. Being single is amazing, and it's great to see someone like Jennifer Lopez — one of the most beautiful and successful women in the world! — express it.

This, of course, isn't the first time that Lopez has inspired us all with her great philosophies about life and love: Here are 5 other times she taught us why it's okay to be a single lady.

"I am totally single. It’s not going to be forever. Someone great will come along.”

J.Lo is right. It's okay to be single: You need to love you before someone else loves you. Someone will come along when the time is right.

"I don't need anybody else. I want somebody else, that would be nice, but I gotta be happy and whole on my own first."

Once again, you gotta hand it to J.Lo. She know's whats up. A relationship should only add to your life, it should not be your life. As Lopez added: "I gotta heal from things. You gotta give yourself time and space ... to grow and to realize things about yourself, to become your own best friend, to love yourself."

“I am who I am and I am human. I do what feels right in the moment. And right now it feels good to just be on my own and have some 'I love Jennifer' time, which I haven't done a lot in my life.”

Don't push Lopez to go into marriage number four. She doesn't need to rush into another relationship. It's okay to be happy on your own.

"The true love, I realised, was the love that I was missing inside of myself, for myself."

Jennifer Lopez said this to Maria Shriver after she admitted, "I get scared to be alone."

"What you need to know is, nobody can save you or heal you. Only you can do that for you."

Jennifer Lopez was right when she said this to Maria Shriver in a Today Show interview. We should all try to be our own hero in life and adopt this J.Lo mindset.
