'Jurassic Park' Sequel Casting Rumors Have Us Seeing Red

Talk of the fourth installment in the Jurassic Park franchise has been circling around since, well, the premiere of Jurassic Park III in 2001. A couple weeks ago we finally found out the movie's name, Jurassic World, and now, we've got our first solid actor-related rumor, because Bryce Dallas Howard may be joining Jurassic 's cast.

Everything's in early negotiations, but the Jurassic World producers are definitely eying Howard for a part. We also still have no idea what the part is, or how she'd fit into, well, the world of Jurassic World or really any further details of the movie other than the little tidbit indicating Bryce's involvement. But hey, things are happening!

Colin Trevorrow will be directing the film, with Frank Marshall, Pat Crowley, and Steven Spielberg (you may have heard of him) producing. It will shoot in Hawaii sometime this winter and be released around June 12, 2015.

Tell us on Twitter your thoughts on who Howard might be playing, and what kind of role her character might have in World's world as a whole.

Maybe something similar to Laura Dern's awesome Dr. Ellie Sattler in the first few? Or do you think Dern will return, and Howard will play some other form of dinosaur-fighter?
