Dominic Purcell Takes On 'The Flash' As Heat Wave

by Allyson Koerner

You know what Tuesday brings? A night filled with great TV, including The CW's new hit superhero series, The Flash. However, the episode on Tuesday, Jan. 20 titled "Revenge of the Rogues" is extra special. Not only is Wentworth Miller reprising his role as Leonard Snart, aka Captain Cold, but we finally get to see Dominic Purcell on The Flash as Mick Rory aka Heat Wave. As exciting as it will be to see Captain Cold and Heat Wave partner up and challenge Barry Allen to an "epic battle," Prison Break fans will finally see Purcell and Miller reunite.

We've already seen Miller in action as Captain Cold, but now it's time for him to join forces with Purcell (also known for his time on John Doe as the titular character who couldn't remember his name and Blade: Trinity, where he played Dracula). While the two will be busy planning to steal a multi-million dollar painting — and taunting Barry in the midst — those who still consider themselves Prison Break superfans are going to be more concerned about Purcell and Miller's chemistry. For those unaware, they played brothers, Lincoln Burrows (Purcell) and Michael Scofield (Miller) on the series, which revolved around Michael sitting in prison for a crime he didn't commit (don't worry, he had a handy-dandy map of tats all over his body to help him escape), while Lincoln devised a way to break out his brother.

So, will we get to see more brotherly love moments between these two on The Flash? Most likely not, seeing as they are both big bad villains and I'm pretty sure they aren't brothers. However, that doesn't mean we can't hope. To get us in the Michael/Lincoln spirit, here are a few brotherly moments from Prison Break.

That Time Michael & Lincoln Hugged

Nothing like two brothers sharing a meaningful hug.

That Time They Had A Serious Talk

Just give Lincoln another hug, Michael.

That Time Michael Gave Lincoln A Pep Talk

As George Michael sings, it's all about faith.

That Time They Laughed Like Brothers Do

*swoon*

That Time They Fought Like Brothers Do

They love each other, but that doesn't mean they don't fight.

That Time They Had Some Beers

Cheers!

We can only hope to get some great moments like these between Purcell and Miller on The Flash.
