After hearing about the birth and subsequent naming of Ali Later's new baby girl, Vivienne Margaret, and how the infant shared her name with a few other celebrity babies, the rusty wheels in my head starting turning. It got me thinking about how "Vivienne" isn't the only name that keeps on popping up in the wonderful world of celebrity baby naming. So, of course, I got to doing a little digging, mainly because I'm an incredibly nosy person by nature (I'm working on it).
Thanks in part to help from namecandy.com, here are some beloved celebrity baby names that keep on making the rounds.
Vivienne Rose O’Donnell is one of Rosie’s five children. Yes, five.
Which is still less than Brangelina’s six, who count Vivenne Marcheline Jolie-Pitt as one of the youngest.
Ali Larter just had her new baby girl that she named Vivienne Margaret.
Jessie James and Eric Decker went a little more original with their take on the classic name, spelling it Vivianne. Her full name is Vivianne Rose Decker.
Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen also switched up the spelling and named their daughter Vivian.
The only girl in the Beckham brood is named Harper Seven.
Tiffani Amber Thiessen named her daughter Harper Renn Smith. Which is a bummer, because I know we were all expecting a little Kelly Kapowski.
Jenna Fischer also got on the Harper train, naming her daughter Harper Marie Kirk.
Neil Patrick Harris and David Burtka named their daughter Harper Grace Burtka-Harris, and she’s all sorts of adorable.
Dave Grohl’s first check on this list is for his daughter Harper Willow Grohl. We’ll be seeing him again shortly.
Bill Hader’s named his middle daughter Harper. Let’s hope she’s as funny as her dad.
So many Jadens, but let’s start with the probably the most notable one: Jaden Christopher Syre Smith.
Britney Spears’s youngest son is named Jayden James.
David Boreanaz named his son Jaden Rayne.
And Christian Slater went with Jaden as well.
Courtney Love and Kurt Cobain named their daughter Frances Bean.
Jimmy Fallon and his wife’s newest addition is called Frances Cole.
Amanda Peet named her little girl Frances Pen Benioff.
Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck gave their eldest daughter the floral and classic name of Violet.
…And he’s back! Grohl makes the list once more for his daughter Violet Maye.
Christina Milian and The Dream had daughter Violet Madison Nash together.
Although they haven’t confirmed the news themselves, Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds’ baby is thought to be named Violet.
Hugh Jackman and his wife are parents to daughter Ava Eliot Jackman.
Reese Witherspoon and Ryan Phillippe named their daughter Ava Elizabeth.
Jason Priestley is dad to Ava Veronica.
Stacy Kiebler’s named her new baby girl Ava Grace.
Josh Gad is also a repeat offender (in a good way!) on this list. But first up, is daughter Ava.
Heather Locklear and Richie Sambora named their daughter Ava Elizabeth. (That’s two Ava Elizabeths on this list alone!)
Melanie Griffiths and Antonio Banderas’s daughter is named Stella del Carmen.
Matt Damon and his wife, Luciana, have a Stella, too.
Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott’s eldest daughter is named Stella Doreen.
Meredith Grey… I mean Ellen Pompeo and her husband, Chris Ivery, have daughter Stella Luna.
Nicole Kidman and Tom Cruise’s daughter is named Isabella Jane.
Aunt Becky, AKA Lori Louglin, named her daughter Isabella Rose. Although Alex and/or Nicky would have been totally fine.
Matt Damon’s on a roll, this time for daughter Isabella.
And, Josh Gad once more for his youngest daughter Isabella Eve.
Hal Sparks named his son Camden Harrison.
Nick Lachey and Vanessa Minnillo named their first son Camden John…
But, Kristin Cavallari and Jay Cutler named their son Camden Jack before the Lacheys, and Cavallari made note of that.
OK, so Brooklyn’s really just honorable mention here because Nick Lachey and Vanessa Minnillo almost make the list one more time for naming their baby girl Brooklyn Elisabeth.
Though Brooklyn Beckham has been around for quite some time. But hey, who doesn’t love a gender neutral, versatile name? Besides, the Beckhams don’t seem to care.
