Ali Larter Gives Birth!

by Kadeen Griffiths

Even if you don't recognize her name, then you'll definitely recognize her face, because Legend actress Ali Larter has been in everything from Final Destination to Legally Blonde, showing off her versatile acting talent and endearing herself to millions. Now she's earned the unconditional love of one more soul, because Larter has given birth to a baby girl with the cutest name ever. If you're expecting a wild moniker for this, Larter's second child and first girl, then look elsewhere for those unbelievable celebrity baby names. As she announced on her website on Monday, Larter and husband Hayes MacArthur named their baby Vivienne Margaret MacArthur, who shares a name with Vivienne Jolie-Pitt.

Vivienne is joining the family as the younger sister of the couple's first child, Theodore Hayes, who is currently 4 years old. Her pregnancy was first announced on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, which, if I was pregnant, would be my first choice of a platform if not second only to The Ellen Show. "It’s a girl!" reads the message on Larter's website. "We couldn’t be more excited to share news of the arrival of Vivienne Margaret MacArthur on Thursday January 15th 2015. She came bearing gifts for her brother: Batman sheets and lots of Gummy Bears!!! 7.5 lbs of love."

I'm sorry, but did you just say that this little bundle of joy came with Batman sheets and gummy bears? Obviously there will be no sibling rivalry between Theodore and Vivienne. I don't know about you, but if my younger sibling had brought home anything from the hospital besides a full diaper, I might have warmed up to her a lot faster in my impetuous youth. Even sweeter is the fact that, when Larter announced her pregnancy on Fallon, it was an enduring tradition. The last time she had been on The Tonight Show prior to that, she had been pregnant with her first child. It's almost enough to bring a tear to your eye — if this adorable baby picture doesn't do that already.

Larter and MacArthur are old pros at this by this point, so it should be smooth sailing once they adjust for the difference between raising a boy out of diapers to raising a girl out of diapers. And the difference, especially in those early days, is basically nothing. Whether or not Theodore and Vivienne have a third sibling in their future depends entirely on if Larter appears on The Tonight Show again, obviously. In her own words, "I said to my husband, ‘I’m going on Fallon, so you know what that means — I gotta get pregnant."
