It seems like just yesterday we were all gathered around our computers waiting to hear about Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds' baby. Did they have a girl or a boy? What did they name their first-born? Even though they've yet to release an official statement and confirm all of the juicy baby details, a source told People, Lively and Reynolds had a daughter, and we're all still assuming they named her Violet. Now, Reynolds is dishing about fatherhood, and, yes it's super swoon-worthy, even if he did try to breastfeed his daughter. Wait... what?
When chatting with People at the 2015 Sundance Film Festival, Reynolds said,
I gotta jump in and do all those sorts of things. I mean, I’ve even tried breastfeeding. It’s frustrating for the baby and frankly disturbing for me.
Before you get in a tizzy or start freaking out that Reynolds actually breastfed his daughter, calm down, because, of course, he's joking. However, when it comes to taking care of his baby, it's no joking matter for the actor and he even said life is "great."
It’s amazing that you can be that exhausted and that happy at the same time.
If you're not sure, now it's time to start swooning. I never doubted for a minute that Reynolds would be a great father. Now, he's proving just that with all this baby talk that I, for one, can't get enough of.
