Selena & Zedd Are Making Sweet Music Together

by Alex Kritselis

Zeddlena is real, you guys! Selena Gomez and DJ Zedd have been spotted out and about together quite a bit lately, sparking rumors that the two are now an item. While I can't speak to the nature of their relationship, I do know that Gomez is featured on Zedd's new single, "I Want You to Know." The collaboration was announced at the 2015 iHeart Music Summit in Los Angeles last week. So, even if the pair aren't actually dating (which seems kind of unlikely at this point), they're still making sweet music together. How do I know that "I Want You to Know" will be sweet? Because Gomez's voice is perfectly suited for Zedd's irresistible EDM beats, that's how!

While this is the 22-year-old former Disney star's first time working with Zedd (real name: Anton Zaslavski), she's experimented with dance music throughout her entire career. Gomez certainly isn't known for her vocal prowess, but her singing has improved over the years, and I think that she has a pure tone that won't clash or compete with Zedd's intricate production. Plus, she has a pretty decent track record when it comes to putting out music that gets people moving. I haven't even heard "I Want You to Know" yet, and I'm already convinced that it's going to be a hit.

Here are 6 songs that prove that Selena and Zedd are a musical match made in heaven:

"Save the Day"

Arguably, one of the best tracks on Gomez's Stars Dance album.

"Shake It Up"

So cheesy. So good.

"Undercover"

Why "Undercover" wasn't released as a single, I'll never know.

"Naturally"

A classic.

"Love You Like a Love Song"

An even bigger classic.

"Music Feels Better"

My favorite Gomez song to date.

See? She's totally got this. Hopefully, "I Want You to Know" will be released soon.
