Sunday's halftime singer never wants to forget the Super Bowl. In fact, Katy Perry commemorated the Super Bowl with a tattoo. Shortly after the game's conclusion, Perry posted pics to Instagram of her new ink. She's now officially sporting the roman numerals for Super Bowl 49 (XLIX) on her finger. "I thought it would be appropriate to draw blood tonight," she captioned one of the photos. (And yeah, considering how the game ended with a brawl, it's a pretty fitting caption.)
I don't blame her for wanting to remember this Super Bowl. She gave a pretty awesome performance and I don't want to (and can't) forget it any time soon either. But Perry is known for her more creative, fun tattoos, like the smiling strawberry on her ankle, so I'm just a little disappointed that she went so basic with the roman numerals for 49 for her seventh tattoo. There were some crazy things going on in that halftime show that she could have worked with. I'm talking costume changes, robotic animals, dancing sea life, and so much more.
If I was Perry, I would have tattooed one of the following seven memorable moments instead. But, first, let's take a look at what Katy Perry picked.
I mean, it's nice and all. But one of these would have been so much more fun.
The Dancing Sharks
The Internet loved these dorky dancing dudes, and who doesn't want a shark tattoo?
Flames
Her fiery dress was a show stopper, and if she got some flames tattooed then she could be the Girl on Fire. I mean she performed with Cinna (Lenny Kravitz), after all, so she's basically Katniss Everdeen.
The More You Know Star
She'd be in good company with Naya Rivera, who also has this tattoo.
A Smiling Beach Ball
It would fit in well with her smiling strawberry and smiling peppermint tattoos.
The Pepsi Logo
The halftime show was sponsored by this soda company, so maybe Perry could work out a deal with them and get paid to sport the symbol, while also remembering her epic performance.

She was also a star of the show.
A Robot Lion
Because it's a robot lion and that deserves to be remembered forever. (Don't worry robot lion, Perry may have gotten a different tattoo, but I won't forget you or the rest of this crazy show any time soon.)
