This Short Film Has Every British Actor You Love

by Alyse Whitney

If it feels like every actor you see in movies and at award shows is British, you're right. Vanity Fair documented this "British Invasion" for their Hollywood issue with a short film from Jason Bell that likens it to a war of actors from the UK vs. stars from the USA. Although there aren't any American actors in the video, the point is driven with a laundry list of British favorites preparing for "battle" and then taking over stateside by recreating classic movie scenes. Among the best moments from the three-part series are Keira Knightley's fake orgasm from When Harry Met Sally (and Dame Judi Dench saying, "I'll have what she's having"), Tom Hiddleston and Felicity Jones as Bonnie and Clyde, and Richard Madden (a.k.a. Game of Thrones' Robb Stark) saying, "Frankly, darling, I don't give a damn."

In addition to those amazing re-creations listed above, there were also simply great moments with actors like Eddie Redmayne riding a bike, Benedict Cumberbatch walking dogs and then stripping down for a swim, Emily Blunt and Jamie Dornan looking glam near the Hollywood sign, future Late Late Show host James Corden giving a great Bill Clinton impression, and Chiwetel Ejiofor looking suave on a plane. Check out all three parts of the short film below, and try not to swoon too hard.
