Leave it to Lady Gaga to make a fabulous statement with her heart-shaped engagement ring. After the Grammy-winning singer flashed her heart-shaped stunner from her Valentine’s weekend engagement to Taylor Kinney, I couldn’t help but think about non-traditional engagement rings worn by other celebrities. From J.Lo to ScarJo, these Hollywood beauties have said “Yes” or “I do” to some truly unique bling.
The classic and conservative white diamond engagement ring has been replaced by more colorful alternatives, especially when it comes to trend-setting celebrities. One of the most talked about and stunning engagement rings in all of Hollywood history has to be the 6.1-carat pink diamond Harry Winston that Ben Affleck gave to Jennifer Lopez in 2002 — aka the “Bennifer” era.
Another pink perfection also graced Blake Lively’s ring finger after the actress tied the knot with Ryan Reynolds in 2012.
Speaking of Reynolds, his ex-wife Scarlett Johansson rocked a retro-inspired Art Deco ring after her and French journalist Romain Dauriac became engaged in 2013.
Who cares about being traditional and classic when you can rock a big yellow diamond a la Kelly Clarkson?

More and more celebs have also donned vintage-inspired bands in recent years, including Ashlee Simpson’s 5-carat Neil Lane.
We can’t forget about Fergie’s 4-carat H.Stern ring that could easily pass for a priceless antique. What’s even more priceless, however, was how the singer gushed about husband Josh Duhamel’s proposal. “He did a good job,” Fergie said.
A-listers still have to bow down at the sight of the 12-carat sapphire that Prince William gave to Kate Middleton back in 2010. The royal engagement ring, which was the same ring that his father Prince Charles gave to the late Princess Diana in 1981, is now worth an estimated $500,000.
