Guys, Lady Gaga is engaged! In case you missed it, the monster mother's oh-so-handsome boyfriend, Taylor Kinney, officially became her fiancé when he proposed on Valentine's Day. Cue the *awwws.* I admit, I scoff at most Valentine's Day engagements, but something about this pair's commitment makes me want to use an excessive number of heart-eyed emojis and listen to "You and I" on repeat.

The pop star and the Chicago Fire actor were actually rumored to have tied the knot already after hosting an intimate gathering at her NYC restaurant, Joanne Trattoria, last fall. I'm thrilled they didn't, though, because I am too excited to hear about all of Gaga's sure-to-be wild wedding deets. (Will Asia be her maid of honor? Will there be a crazy theme? Will Tony Bennett sing her down the aisle?)

For Gaga, one of the world's most unconventional celebrities, to get engaged on V-day is so predictable, it's unpredictable. Another so-basic-it's-bizarre detail? The ring. It's heart shaped. I love that Gaga and Kinney's engagement is so fabulously normal, because no one would have expected it. Gaga shared a snap of the bling on her Instagram, and I'm warning you now, this ring is blindingly gorgeous (and, y'know, just blinding.)
