Yes, There Will Be 'Die Hard' Jokes on 'SNL'

Here's a sentence we never thought we'd say: Bruce Willis is following in the footsteps of Miley Cyrus. As host of Saturday Night Live , that is. The actor, next up in 2014's Sin City: A Dame to Kill For, will be appearing on this weekend's edition of the long-running show.

A few promos for the episode have just been released, and if they're any indication of what's going to happen on Saturday night, it looks like we'll be hearing a lot of jokes featuring variations on the Die Hard title and others that play off of Willis' tough-guy demeanor. If we're lucky, SNL regular Cecily Strong might even treat us to some excruciatingly bad Bruce Willis impressions — we can only hope.

The promos all focus on the same general concept — a hyper-excited, John McClane-obsessed Strong annoying a serious, unamused Willis. The SNL cast member suggests Die Hard titles (Live and Let Die Hard is actually not so bad), tries to get Willis to save her from danger, and acts out a scene that ends up with the action star embracing Strong, now a "so beautiful" damsel in distress. With promos this amusing, the bar is set high for Saturday night.
