Jonah Hill's Dream Involved Slow-Mo, Cocaine, & Martin Scorsese

Oh, Jonah Hill. Such low-brow comedy beginnings, such a pompous Oscar-nominated present. It's all kind of endearing, actually, which is why his newest comments about what it was like to be Jonah Hill working with Martin Scorsese on the upcoming The Wolf of Wall Street are pretty cute.

"I mean, being shot in slow motion doing cocaine by Martin Scorsese is, like, maybe every actor's dream," Hill said in an interview with, appropriately, The Wall Street Journal. "Nothing will ever compare to it, except for maybe having kids one day or something."

He's also super excited about all the wild drama, given his wild comedy background:

The humor comes [in this] from really awful places. I've done some pretty wild scenes. I'm not shy, but I would be shocked at what we were doing every day. I have big fake teeth, I'm wearing crazy '80s suits. We would be on a yacht filled with people, and the yacht would sink. I was driving a purple Bentley, and Leo was driving a Lamborghini. The whole movie is about decadence.

So it's kind of like DiCaprio went from Gatsby-level partying in the 1920s to.... Gatsby-level partying now? Cool.
