Solange's All Red Ensemble Wins Paris Fashion Week

by Lauren Turner

Have you ever wondered if fashion was a genetic trait that you could pass down to your children and their children? The answer is clearly no, but that doesn't stop families from being fashionable, for generations. Let's take the Knowles family, for example. There's every outfit Tina Knowles has ever created for Destiny's Child (except a few). There's every flawless costume Beyonce has ever performed in. And then there's every piece of Solange's Paris Fashion Week outfit.

Instead of wearing all black or tons of camel-colored fur like everyone else at the Carven runway show, Solange went with a monochromatic outfit that was bright, in all of the right ways. The all red look included a fur coat fitting of the '70s, a turtleneck with a totally slimming lined pattern, and a bodycon midi skirt with a major front slit. She paired the look with two nude pieces: her bag and strappy heels, which made it just that much better.

I personally think Solange is the most fashionable out of the Knowles women – I mean, don't you remember her wedding? So seeing her in such an outfit is no surprise. And the fact that her hair is literally perfect, is even less of a surprise. I'm just waiting for her son to get her fashionable genes, so we can all gush over him, too.
