Lady Gaga Looks Elegant And Classic In This LBD

Back in 2009, anything that Lady Gaga wore was sure to be a headline-maker due to its inevitable weirdness. These days, instead of getting attention for wearing bustiers made of fiberglass bubbles, she's becoming a trending topic for looking relatively normal sauce. Case in point, Lady Gaga wore an LBD to the Balenciaga Fall 2015 show yesterday and looked shockingly regular. Is she gonna start asking us to call her Stefani soon, because I don't think I'm capable of that.

Don't get me wrong, Gaga looked super elegant in the black sleeveless sheath that she wore Balenciaga's F/W presentation on Friday. Without a doubt, it's interesting to see her work classic elegance after years of being the contemporary queen of conceptual fashion. Also, there were still signs of eccentric Gaga in the styling of this outfit. Channeling her inner Upper West Side rich elderly woman, she sported a diamond brooch (or is it more of a hat pin?) on the bodice of her dress. In keeping with her current habit of rocking statement gloves (you know which ones I'm talking about), she wore a pair of black leather ones.

Also, let's just take a moment to acknowledge that she appears not to be wearing a wig. In other news, Hell just froze over.

Also, her '60s style temple-tendrils-cum-lady-sideburns really deserve a shout-out.

Which, if you can believe it, is fresh from the runway.

All in all, I'm happy for Gaga with her style reinvention. I just hope I never live to see her lose the element of playfulness of the girl who once wore lobster fascinators.
