Only Ri Could Wear A Superhero Mask To PFW

The palace of Versailles may have been famous for its glamorous masquerade balls, but this is 2015, and one celebrity has a few thoughts about how to update "masked" while in Paris for fashion week. Rihanna wore a batman mask to Moschino' show on Sunday evening, and honestly? It's really just kind of great.

Though the singer wore a somewhat subdued outfit (by Rihanna's standards), ripped boyfriend jeans, a white crop top, and a bright yellow fur jacket, you can always count on RiRi to make a style statement, and that she did. Clad in a black batman mask with a deep, red lip, the 27-year-old made one pretty fierce superhero. It might be gimmicky, and certainly inappropriate at a show like Chanel or Dior, given Jeremy Scott's cartoon and pop art influences in his designs, it's actually pretty brilliant. And as for her choice of superhero to emulate, her real name might be Robyn, but we all know, Rihanna is no one's sidekick.

Her cheeky look certainly brought the fun to fashion week, and no doubt will inspire plenty of costumes come next Halloween. But it takes a true superstar to pull this off in any month other than October.
