Taylor Swift's Band-Aid Is Punny and Purr-fect

Yesterday, when Taylor Swift was trying to cuddle with her kitty, Meredith Grey, she may have been a little too “fearless." The mega pop star ended up Instagramming about how Meredith Grey now owes her $40 million dollars for scratching her precious, insured leg. But to continue the light humor, Swift decided to use a band-aid with a punny statement that read “me-OW!”

Even though Swift posted her Instagram with a tongue-in-cheek caption, “GREAT WORK MEREDITH I WAS JUST TRYING TO LOVE YOU AND NOW YOU OWE ME 40 MILLION DOLLARS,” I can’t help but to think that Swift was somewhat upset for reals. Like, sure it's funny to think that a cat would have to pay off $40 million for scratching a leg, but that's one important leg in a set of super important legs on the body of an incredibly important human! Perhaps this whole leg insurance and band-aid situation is her light-hearted way of letting everyone know that she's totally serious about her stems. After all, they do some really important stage-dancing and street-style-walking.

Although the band-aid didn't look super chic, the pun that she wrote on top of it sure made up for it, along with her super cute outfit, of course. Swift was rocking a boho hairstyle, a pair of booties, and a mini dress that showcased her long, newly scratched legs. It's OK, Tay: Just "shake it off," because I still think you look great!
