Bieber's Buddy Lil Twist Charged With 6 Felonies

Justin Bieber has been trying to clean up his act lately, and it sounds like a good next step might be getting some new friends. As TMZ reports, Bieber's friend Lil Twist has been charged with six felonies. The 22-year-old rapper has been charged by the Los Angeles County D.A. with "making criminal threats, burglary, grand theft, battery and 2 counts of assault with a deadly weapon," according to TMZ.

The charges all come from a November incident that involved former Disney Channel star Kyle Massey. Reportedly, Twist was hanging out with friends at Massey's house when the actor and his brother, Chris, asked them to leave. After leaving, Twist and his friends allegedly returned, "pushed their way back inside and then pummeled Chris Massey with brass knuckles, pantsed him and stole his wallet and cell phone."

Additionally, TMZ reports that there is an arrest warrant out for Lil Twist, and that with all of the charges combined, he faces up to 25 years imprisonment.

While Bieber is not involved in the incident himself, being friends with Twist (and, undoubtedly, being much more famous that Twist) has associated him with the situation. Plus, they've had some legal issues that involved each other in the pat. The rapper crashed Bieber's super fancy Fisker Karma into "cement poles" in 2013, according to Page Six. And before that, was pulled over for speeding while driving Bieber's Ferrari. Twist also reportedly threw a huge party at his buddy's Calabasas, Calif. mansion while Bieber was out of the country on tour.

So, yeah... even though Bieber is not involved in the felonies, it sounds like Twist is probably not be the best person to have in his life if he's really trying to make a change.
