Watch Sam Claflin Drink Urine & Bugs — Yum!

by Anna Klassen

You've heard the horror stories, and you've seen them enacted on screen. Classics like Animal House and newer bromance comedies like 2014's Neighbors depict what brothers can be subjected to in the process of joining a fraternity. While beer bonging until you can't stand might sound like the worst of it, what Sam Claflin's character tolorates in The Riot Club might take the cake.

The Riot Club details 10 Oxford students who pledge their loyalty to a college club that bows down to debauchery and Latin drinking games. Based on Laura Wade's stage play Posh, A-listers like Hunger Games Sam Claflin, Max Irons, and Game of Thrones star Natalie Dormer take on the juicy roles for the big screen. Rumor has it the sensational tale might actually be based on a true story. Maybe.

In this exclusive clip from the film, we see Claflin's character being dragged out of a school library by his arms and legs, blindfolded, and made to drink a mystery beverage containing the most grotesque additions imaginable: A cigar, a club member's spit, a vile of urine, and so on.

Watch the brave initiate attempt to down the beverage in the clip below. The Riot Club hits theatres and VOD on Friday, March 27.
