What We Know About 'The Walking Dead' Companion

by Rachel Semigran

If AMC has taught us anything, it's that there's no such thing as, "too much of a good thing." Did you miss Breaking Bad when the series finale aired? Here's Better Call Saul! Worried about The Walking Dead taking its final brain-eating steps into that good night? Never fear: The companion series is here. Network execs have been hush-hush about the upcoming The Walking Dead spinoff series (especially about its title), and though they'vebeen dropping cast names and filming dates, they haven't completely fleshed out all of the details. Gotta keep fans on their toes... and still planning for the zombie apocalypse. Well ladies, gents, and the un-dead, prepare yourself: this show finally has a title and it is called Fear The Walking Dead.

The news broke on Twitter thanks to The Walking Dead creator Robert Kirkman, who wrote, "IT'S OFFICIAL! The walking dead companion show on AMC is called FEAR THE WALKING DEAD! Expect more news very soon! #FearTheWalkingDead."

So, was The Walking Dead not to be feared? ARE THESE WALKERS EVEN SCARIER? I've got a lot of questions for you, AMC. I also have a feeling that most people are just going to keep calling it The Walking Dead, despite the fact it's a different show. Sort of like how no one ever says, Law & Order: SVU — It's either Law & Order or "SVU." We live in the age 140-characters, everything has to be shortened. Totes.

So now that we know the name of the series, here's everything we know about Fear The Walking Dead:
