As you can probably imagine, there's quite a bit of anticipation surrounding The Comedy Central Roast of Justin Bieber. I mean, if there's one thing we love as a society, it's watching celebrities playfully bash other celebrities on national television. And, let's be honest here, given Bieber's history, he's had this coming for quite some time now. However, amid all of his Hollywood friends that turned out for the big event — which taped on March 14 — there was one person in particular who was noticeably MIA for the event, leaving many fans wondering where Bieber's ex-girlfriend Selena Gomez was during the roast. Out of all the people who have dirt on this singer and his many, many antics, the person who had a front row seat for most of it was nowhere to be found. And believe me, her absence did not go unnoticed.
In fact, Gomez became a central theme for many roast jokes tossed around that evening with even host Kevin Hart cracking wise about why her presence was unaccounted for. "Selena Gomez couldn't be here tonight. Just because she didn’t want to be here," Hart said, while Jeffrey Ross chimed in with, "Selena Gomez wanted to be here tonight, but she's dating men now." So what exactly was Gomez up to on that particular day? After doing a little digging here's what I discovered…
Though Gomez remained relatively quiet that day on the social media front, she did post a photo of herself lounging around while rocking a super cute casual look, which received quite a bit of praise from fans. But that's it. That's all I could discover about how she spent her Bieber-less day. And while it's not much to go on, here's what I was able to deduce using just this photo as my guide.
