The Long Island Medium's Got a Surprising New Gig

by Emily Kirkpatrick

Theresa Caputo is one busy lady. With six seasons worth of otherworldly experiences, a book, and a multitude of live appearances under her belt, you'd think she has enough on her plate, but The Long Island Medium is creating a line of jewelry, so apparently she still has some time on her hands. Yup, Caputo is bringing her signature blonde hair, long acrylic nails, and rhinestoned everything version of chic to a range of customizable jewelry creations for e-tailer Jeweled Moments.

The pieces are meant to be as personalized as Caputo's readings, during which she contacts the spirits of loved ones who have passed on. You didn't need me to tell you that, did you? Admit it — you've watched the show. In fact, the pieces are designed to help people honor and commemorate special relationships (with the living OR the dead) by creating necklaces out of handwriting, children's drawings, or the likenesses of family pets, all cast in silver or gold. Talk about on brand!

There's also a number of heart-centric designs featuring wings (and rhinestones, of course), meant to help keep you protected, compassionate, and reflective. The pieces are all available from Jeweled Moments now and range in price from $39 to $115.

While Caputo's new venture is definitely interesting, I can think of a few other reality TV stars whose products I would love to see hit the market.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star owns enough of the most expensive, fabulous shoes to easily shod every woman in California. So isn't it time she got a high heel line of her very own, perhaps in collaboration with her good friend Christian Louboutin?

2. Snooki and JWoww Bronzer

If we know anything to be true about the Jersey Shore crew, it is that they live by three major life tenets: Gym, Tan, Laundry, otherwise known as GTL. It seems like only a matter of time before the two breakout stars from the show, Snooki and JWoww, branch into the bronzer game themselves so they can keep that deep Jersey glow all year round.

3. Kim Zolciak Hair Extensions

Considering Kim pretty much never lets anyone see her real hair, constantly hiding it beneath more and more extravagant wigs and weaves, I'm surprised she hasn't thought to capitalize on her expertise yet. The former Real Housewives of Atlanta star could create an array of extensions that would guarantee you'll never be tardy for the party ever again.

4. Coco Austin's Padded Butt Enhancer Pants

Coco, like many reality stars, is famous for very little, and most of that fame is centered around her copious physical assets. Ice-T's main squeeze has made a veritable career out of posing while wearing almost nothing, so why shouldn't she make a little more money off of it? For the girls out there who've always dreamed of achieving a posterior that could rival Kim K's, I give you the Coco Austin Padded Butt Enhancer pants.

5. The Bachelor Lingerie

Ok so this isn't exactly a reality TV star, but it is a reality TV empire. Considering this show is nearing its 20th season, I'm surprised by their serious lack of merchandise. To celebrate their next season, they should definitely get started with a line of racy lingerie to make any couple's night in the "Honeymoon Suite" a little more sultry.
