What Would Robert Pattinson's Wedding Look Like?
Is your dream of marrying Robert Pattinson officially dead? Don't believe everything rapper T-Pain tells you. In an interview with Vulture, T-Pain dished that his pal FKA Twigs was engaged to boyfriend Robert Pattinson. Naturally, the world freaked out — could the Twilight star really be walking down the aisle? I believed it, honeslty... until I checked the date, and realized it's April 1. Fortunately for Pattinson and Twigs, it looks like their so-called "secret" might not be spilled after all — according to a recent tweet from T-Pain himself, he may have added a little "April Fools' Day" into his Vulture interview — hinting that the "engagement news" was nothing more than a hoax. Specifically, T-Pain said: "Added a little #AprilFools to my interview with @vulture today! [...] #CheckMeOut."
You got us good, T-Pain. You got us real good. (For what it's worth, Bustle has reached out to Pattinson and FKA Twigs' reps for more info, but has yet to hear back.)
T-Pain may have been pulling one over on Pattinson fans, but it's not like a future wedding between these two seems that unrealistic. If paparazzi photos mean anything, Pattinson and FKA Twigs (full name, Tahliah Debrett Barnett) have gotten quite close after first being spotted out together in September 2014. It makes sense — both Pattinson and FKA Twigs march to the beat of their own drummer, and while they may be famous, they're definitely not "Hollywood types." I can only imagine how their alleged wedding would go down — there's no way these two are going the traditional route on anything.
Here's what the Robert Pattinson/FKA Twigs wedding might look like if these two superstars ever do get hitched — even if this time it's just a joke.
The Invitations
No need for formal invites. Instead, FKA Twigs will drop an EP and casually mention the wedding in her Instagram caption.
The Location
Any place far, far away from the paparazzi's cameras.
The Vows
For Twigs, it'll be the lyrics of a particularly obscure tune not yet released to the public. For Pattinson, it's one of his monologues from Cosmopolis.
The Dress
This.
The Suit
Optional.
The Honeymoon
A city so obscure you probably haven't heard of it.
Gift Bags
A brown paper bag with the DVD for the film Vampires Suck inside.
Congrats are in order, T-Pain, for this epic joke on the press — and congrats to Pattinson and FKA Twigs for their cute, offbeat relationship.
