Olivia Palermo Designed A Handbag For Aspinal Of London, And It's Classic, Charitable, And Tech Savvy
While I (im)patiently await a fashion line from New York's most glamorous socialite, this will have to tide me over. In a collaboration with Aspinal of London, Olivia Palermo designed a classic handbag with a tech twist and a charitable mission. And in true cool-girl style, the leather bag is limited edition.
The Olivia Palermo Limited Edition Marylebone Tote has been nicknamed the "tech tote" because it includes a tech charger pack for your devices. Handy, right? OK, so maybe that's not quite worth the $1,825 price tag, but if you are actually considering it, keep in mind that 100 percent of the profits will be going to ADCAM, "a charity that works to develop cooperation projects and social responsibility initiatives," according to the site. Oh, and act fast, because it's ultra exclusive — there are only 30 out there. Each bag is individually numbered and includes Olivia's signature embossed in gold for an extra special touch.
This isn't Palermo's first accessory collaboration (she's designed sunnies for Westward Leaning and created a capsule collection of shoes for Aquazzura), but I hope it's a sign that she's inching even closer to starting her own line. We've already been promised one someday (and I won't forget,) but I'm dying to see what would be included. As for now, the wait continues, but this is a step in the right direction.
