Rihanna’s “A Night” Samples Florence + The Machine & It’ll Get You Even More Hyped For ‘R8’ — LISTEN

The teasing continues: On Wednesday, a clip of a new Rihanna song called "A Night" premiered online and it sounds epic. We've heard so many Rihanna clips lately! The 27-year-old pop star definitely wasn't kidding around at the end of 2014 when she said fans would be hearing her upcoming project "little by little." It all started when she began posting snippets of her new material on Instagram back in December 2014. Then, just a few weeks ago, a piece of "American Oxygen" debuted in a commercial for March Madness. Now, thanks to a behind-the-scenes video of a recent Dior photo shoot, we have our first taste of "A Night.” As many suspected back in January, the track samples Florence + The Machine's "If Only for a Night."

The anticipation for "R8" is killing me right now!

Unfortunately, Rihanna's voice isn’t featured in the new preview — but I can guarantee it'll still get you hyped. In the video, a brief Florence Welch vocal sample plays over and over again in the background, becoming increasingly chopped up and distorted. Eventually, a hard-hitting beat drops, and just when the song really starts to take off… it ends. Damn. Such is life, I guess.

The way she poses.

The way she moves.

She's a goddess.

If I don't get to hear "A Night" in full soon... I don't know what might happen to me!

Just kidding. Well, sort of.

Stay alert, people. You never know when Rihanna might drop the next R8 tease...
