Question A 'Full House' Spinoff Needs To Answer

by Keertana Sastry

UPDATE: On April 20, John Stamos announced that Fuller House had received a 13 episode order from Netflix. It's actually happening, you guys. There's still no word on whether the entire original cast will get back together for the season premiere, but the series proper will follow DJ, Kimmy, and Stephanie after the three women move in together to care for all their children together.

Guys, if this news is true and not just a cruel, cruel joke, then I am over the moon. According to TVLine, Netflix is allegedly extremely close to ordering a Full House spinoff called Fuller House, which would reportedly be a 13-episode multi-cam show that will star DJ Tanner and Kimmy Gibbler. That's right, if this report is in fact accurate, Candice Cameron Bure and Andrea Barber would reprise their roles as DJ Tanner and Kimmy Gibbler, respectively, and OG Full House cast members John Stamos, Bob Saget, and Dave Coulier would also make guest appearances.

Seriously, if this is going to happen, this is incredible. I've always wondered what happened to the Tanner family and to Kimmy, especially since Bure and Barber are close friends in real life, and continue to taunt us Full House fans on social media with random reunions. However, don't get your hopes up about this series just yet: Netflix and Warner Brothers have yet to comment on this news and whether or not it's accurate. But, in case it is the truth, I already have so many questions and wishes for the series.

DJ and Kimmy's relationship was the sweetest, sometimes the corniest, and yet somehow also the realist friendship from the show (considering how many times they stopped being friends and reconciled, and considering how close they tried to stay as they grew up). So, there are just so many things about these two adorable women we all need to know now that we might be seeing them in an all new show, 20 years later:

1. Are DJ And Kimmy Still As Close As Ever?

It's inevitable that you start to lose touch with your childhood friends a little bit if you have things like distance or different careers getting in the way. But even if the alleged series begins with the two women not as close as they used to be, I would love to see their reunion and what causes the two to come back together.

2. Is DJ With Steve?

Please say yes, because he was dreamy and he really loved DJ. Viper might have been the bad boy musician who was actually sensitive and Nelson was the safe, nice choice, but Steve was always the winner in my book. I hope they were able to work things out, but on the flip side I also hope they had some time to have fun and explore other relationships before they finally got together. (Also, since I'm wishing for stuff, why not give Kimmy a significant other as well?)

3. Has Kimmy Gotten Rid Of Her Foot Problem?

As the original Liz Lemon, Kimmy Gibbler's foot issue was a running joke on the show. I hope Kimmy figured out a way to alleviate the odor issue and can now take her shoes off whenever she wants! Freedom!

4. What Are DJ and Kimmy's Careers?

I truly have no idea what either of them could be doing. For all I know, Kimmy is a traveling saleswoman or something completely equally random. It would be fun to see the girls in completely different fields, considering their completely different styles in most other areas of their lives.

5. Did Kimmy Get Over That Shopping Addiction?

I always imagine Kimmy had to pull a Confessions of a Shopaholic-like move and go to Shopaholics Anonymous meetings because she was applying for credit cards like crazy. It could be a fun nod to the original series if a spinoff brought this joke back.

6. Do They Still Do The Mascara Face?

Oh, who am I kidding? Pretty much every woman does the mascara face. It's scientifically proven to work.
