'Adventure Time' Tattoos Are The Coolest Ever

by Mallory Carra

Cartoon Network's Adventure Time isn't only on TV these days. The five-year-old animated series has had a float in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, has a card game called Card Wars (based on the episode of the same name) in stores, and now has its own themed airplane. Most of all, many people have decided to permanently ink their love for the show on their body with Adventure Time tattoos. Yup, some folks have opted to have Jake the dog, Finn the human, Marceline, Princess Bubblegum, Ice King, Lumpy Space Princess, and more live forever on their bods.

Adventure Time creator Pendleton Ward started out as a storyboard artist before making his own show and he definitely had a vision for what the world and the characters would look like. "I'm a fan of cartoons where the character can change," he told Animation World Network in an interview. "I like the personality of the artist coming through in the drawings. And you'll see that. You'll see Finn change from episode to episode and different artists have their own take on not only the key characters, but also the style of the show."

And those characters have certainly captured the hearts of fans to enough to get tattoos of them. Here are 10 of the best Adventure Time tattoos out there.
