'Fresh Prince Of Bel-Air' Pregnancy Announcement

Whether you were born and raised in West Philadelphia, or you spent most of your elementary school career rapping to Will Smith, you've been ousted from your Fresh Prince of Bel-Air super fan throne. You've officially been beat, by the world's most incredible couple who announced their pregnancy with a cover of the Fresh Prince theme song. We've all wondered what the Banks family would be doing in 2015. And thanks to the Meeks family, we have our answer: They'd probably be rapping about their new baby, while Carlton sulks in the background.

This family is literally the height of chill. If you don't already aspire to their glory, you just haven't watched this video enough times. Trust me. I can only imagine that their future will bring them days spent chill in' out, maxin', relaxin' all cool, shooting some b-ball outside their kid's school. Not only is this an unconventionally, brilliant way to announce a pregnancy, but you've got to hand it to the Meeks: They've got some serious songwriting talent. Let me tell you, their future child is going to have a way with words.

I pulled out some great one-liners from the Meeks' rap, so we can all fully appreciate their poetry:

"When our family and friends, who were up to no good, starting asking questions about parenthood."
"Little did they know the plan had begun, to start our own family and man, it was fun. If anything we thought that this would take time, but in only two months, we're singing you this rhyme."
"I woke up in the mornin' bout 7 or 8 and I thought to myself, 'Oh man, I'm late!' Looked at the test and it was finally there, the little plus sign, we're now three, not a pair."

Watch the whole thing and prepare to be shocked and awed. (Subtle Hitch reference, NBD.)

On the whole, Oregon was thrilled by the pregnancy announcement in Happy Valley. Though they do remind their residents to not use their phones while driving, regardless of the Meeks' ridiculously awesome example. All I can say is Will Smith NEEDS to watch this video. And on that topic, I'm hoping there's a possibility the Meeks' child will turn out like Will Smith's kids.

So, here's the real question of the century: Will the Meeks' child be a JADEN, a TREY or a WILLOW?

If the baby's a Jaden...

He won't care what people think, especially when he has a statement to make. He'll move to his own rhythm, in a dress, or whatever else this fashion-forward kid wants to wear. And if the Meeks' baby is a Jaden, he's probably going to have an awesome Twitter presence.

If the baby's a Trey...

He'll prefer to fly under the radar, but will also make time for his talents and passions. He'll also have some sort of musical talent, and might even be in a music video. (In 1998, Trey was in Will Smith's video "Just The Two Of Us."

If the baby's a Willow...

She will have great hair. Like, on a whole other level of fleek. She will be full of wisdom by the time she turns 15 and will probably also be wearing "Ain't No Wifey" shirts and rocking pink lipstick to boot. (Not gonna lie, I hope the Meeks have a girl and she's a Willow.)
