Of course the West family was invited to one of the most high-powered celebrity gatherings of the year and showed up looking as fashionable as ever. Kim Kardashian and Kanye West attended the TIME 100 Gala in New York City earlier this evening, and they definitely dressed to impress. The one thing they were missing? A sense of humor. Comedy Central's Amy Schumer threw herself at Kim and Kanye, and they didn't even throw a smirk her direction. To be fair, it probably confused the heck out of them, but it did make the photographers and other TIME Gala-goers LOL.
Kim stunned in a low-cut, black patterned gown. Cleavage was everywhere, but was elegantly covered with subtle, sheer paneling (in true Kim style). She showed off playful pockets and a fresh, natural face of makeup. She also rocked her signature slicked back, low pony with a striking middle part. Kanye was looking dapper in neutrals, per usual, wearing what appears to be a velvet blazer and slacks. West layered the jacket over a kimono-type top, layered over a distressed white tee. It's all about layers, folks.
While Kim and Kanye were posing for the cameras, Schumer decided to make an entrance at the event in Lincoln Center by throwing herself adoringly at Kimye's feet. I can imagine she was just trying to garner a few giggles, but Kimye was not having it. Either they were not impressed or they thought, perhaps, something had happened to the hilarious comedian.
Oh, and in case you were wondering: the 37-year-old rapper and his 34-year-old (selfie) queen were being awarded by TIME as two of the most influential people in the world. Yes, that seems about right.
