Justin Timberlake's "TKO" Video Is a Drag

by Kate Ward

Love is not so tender in Justin Timberlake's latest music video for his single "TKO." The seven-minute long video (would you expect anything shorter from the singer? Would you want anything shorter from the singer?), which stars Elvis Presley's granddaughter Riley Keough, features scenes of the 20/20 Experience singer making out with his hound dog of a gal pal. That is, when she's not hitting him over the head with a frying pan and subsequently dragging him with a rope tied to a pick-up truck. Ouch.

Unfortunately, unlike some of his previous offerings, Timberlake's "TKO" is a video about as exciting as JC Chasez's solo career. And it certainly doesn't help matters that the spot features some unfortunate scenes of domestic violence — the video does little more than showcase a abusive relationship without rhyme or reason. Are we supposed to be disgusted? Are we supposed to be entertained? Or are we supposed to simply note how good Timberlake's hair looks and hope for better videos in the future? Watching "TKO," I could only feel the latter.

Also, a lyric like "She kill me with the coo-coochie-coo" kind of just ruins the whole thing, doesn't it?

Watch Timberlake's new video below, then watch an oldie to help wash "TKO" down.
