Blue Ivy Pushed Her Grandma To Get Married

Beyoncé and Jay Z's little girl is pretty impressive. Did you know that Blue Ivy Carter inspired Tina Knowles to marry Richard Lawson? That's right, Blue Ivy has a way with words, which she clearly inherited from her parents. While chatting with People, Knowles revealed that her granddaughter was one of the reasons behind her finally marring Lawson. She said,

[In September] we went on a boat with Beyoncé and Jay Z for her birthday, and when we came out one night dressed to go to dinner, Blue said, "Oh, ya'll look beautiful. When are ya'll getting married?"

See? Blue Ivy's words are anything but flaccid. Knowles said Lawson was taken by Blue Ivy's comments. She added, "Richard said, 'Oh, Blue, soon. Do you approve?' And she said yes. That's the first time we talked seriously about getting married."

The little girl's push worked, because Knowles and Lawson married seven months later on Sunday, April 12. The two exchanged vows on a yacht in Newport Beach, Calif. Yes, Blue Ivy was part of the very special day. She served as the flower girl.

Knowles and Lawson were meant to be, at least according to Miss Tina. After four months of dating, she knew he was the one after he helped her recover after surgery. She told People, "I wasn't very comfortable with it because I was like, 'This is not the way to start a relationship off. It's not very romantic.' But he just proved to me that he was there, that he was really in my corner, and he took such good care of me, and he was so patient. "

Thankfully, Blue Ivy was there to give the two a little push. Hmm... does this mean she'll grow up to be a matchmaker?
