Jimmy Fallon Makes Fun Of Ross Geller

by Allyson Koerner

Leave it to Jimmy Fallon to make fun of Ross Geller from Friends. During Thursday's Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, the late night talk show poked fun at Ross Geller by talking to "David Schwimmer." Fallon didn't do it just because he felt like it; this it all came about thanks to Courteney Cox's interview with Yahoo!, where she revealed Schwimmer is holding up the Friends reunion.

She said, “[The cast] has gotten about 80 percent there, but there’s always one person who flakes at the end… I don’t want to name names but it may… be Schwimmer.” So, the actor should take all the blame, right? No, according to Friends co-creator Marta Kauffman, she told Entertainment Weekly that a reunion makes sense. She said, "But to put them back together now when it’s no longer that time of their lives, there’s no reason for the show. That’s all the show was about — that time and those relationships."

Even though Schwimmer isn't 100 percent to blame, how could Fallon pass up the opportunity to make fun of Ross, especially with that depressed "hiiii" we all know him for. As you can see in the video below, "Schwimmer" responded to the rumors that he didn't want a reunion to happen. From him being super depressed to tricking Fallon into confessing his love for him to bringing the famous "clap, clap, clap" into the mix, the call with "Schwimmer" was very entertaining.

Whoever played him did a great job imitating that depressed "hiiii," right? It brings back all those Friends memories of Ross being super bummed out. Let's take a moment to remember sad (not red) Ross.
