This Mash-Up Of Teen Girl Movies Is Totally Fetch

by Kat George

Here's your daily dose of "This is how old you really are (hint: old)": The year 2015 is the 20 (that's right, TWENTY) year anniversary of Clueless, and this video mashup of iconic teen girl flicks is the perfect way to commemorate. Get out your walking stick now, Nanna, because I'll bet at least half of you reading this remember begging your parents for an advance on your allowance so you could see Clueless at the movies at the mall after school. AS IF you don't remember that.

Meanwhile, my much younger contemporaries who were BORN IN THE '90s (shudder) will be pleased to recognize in this mashup other, more modern, iconic teen chick flicks like Mean Girls, Pitch Perfect, Easy A, The House Bunny, and The Bling Ring. Meanwhile, for us old fogies, there's the inclusion of Bring It On, The Craft, Drive Me Crazy and Ten Things I Hate About You. But that's not all! There's plenty of teenage girl movies here to inspire you to spend a weekend in with your besties, a lot of popcorn, and your favorite streaming devices. And the whole thing is set to The Muffs amazing "Kids In America". (Old ladies, don't even pretend you don't know all the words!)

To celebrate Clueless' anniversary in my own little way, here's a non-definitive list of some of the best catch phrases the movie gave us (because if we're being honest with ourselves, Clueless completely changed or at least influenced greatly the way young people used language, the same way the Internet does when it promotes the use of things like "turnt" and "fleek" which I'm still not really sure of the meaning of):

"As if!"

"Whatever!"

"Rollin' with the homies"

"You're a virgin who can't drive"

"Way harsh, Tai"

"Monet"

"She could be a farmer in those clothes"
