5 Things We Learned From Kourtney's 'Bazaar' Inte

by Lauren Turner

If you pay any attention to the Kardashian clan, then you've probably picked your favorite (mine is Khloe). But after reading Kourtney Kardashian's Harpers Bazaar interview, I definitely have some newfound love for the elder Dash sister. The mother of three talked about everything from her style changes and her working relationship with her sisters, to her go-to outfit of choice. And let me just say, some of you might not like this.

When it doubt, Kardashian reaches for an all denim outfit. Yes, that's right: she favors the Canadian tuxedo. While it might seem a bit much to go denim on denim, I have to say, once you try it, you might be hooked. There have been many a time when I've worn a pair of light-washed jeans, with my dirty Levi's denim jacket, and had no shame. So I have to applaud Kardashian in attempting this look. Though, she prefers pairing a denim shirt with either jeans, shorts, or a skirt.

And that's not all I learned about her. The whole Harpers Bazaar interview gave me a little peak into who she really is. Even though she's not my favorite Dash sister, I love that she's the major mom of the group. I also love how influential her three little ones are, to everything she does. Here are five other things that I learned about Kourtney Kardashian from her Bazaar interview.

1. She turns to her kids' style for inspiration for Dash

I don't know if you ever seen the J. Crew Kids catalogs, but if you have, then you totally understand why Kardashian uses her kid's style as inspiration. And this is totally something she shares with her sister, Kim. "We usually start thinking of what our kids are wearing and then ideas can happen separately," Kardashian said.

2. She steals Scott's sunglasses, on the regular

One of the best things about being in a serious relationship is the fact that you can share clothes. I mean, I don't feel like my boyfriend can really wear my clothes, but I have worn a full outfit, made from his closet. And Kardashian isn't afraid of doing that. "I always steal his sunglasses and he gets really annoyed, so he just bought me these Saint Laurent glasses that match his men's version," Kardashian said.

3. She's super dedicated to her workout routine

For me, when I think about working out and the Kardashian clan, I automatically think about Khloe's recent gym-addiction. But Khloe isn't alone. "I've been working out with a trainer, and having somebody else to work out with really helps motivate me," Kardashian said. And aside from that, she goes on walks, pushing all three of her kids. Talk about a mommy-approved workout.

4. She LOVES mother-daughter and mother-son matching

When it comes to twins, I can't really deal with the matching. But the child-parent matching can be done really well and Kardashian agrees. Although it can be too matchy-matchy sometimes, I have a feeling that Kardashian is the one to do it right. I wonder if she's going to try to do a son-daughter-son-mother matching situation. I would love that.

5. She pretended to be Donna Karan as a child (with Kim, who played her assistant)

If there was ever a Kardashian story that I will remember forever, this is it. I can totally see it and I wish the cameras were around back then. It all started because of Kris Kardashian's macked-out closet. "I remember playing in my mom's closet with Kim as little girls," Kardashian said. "We had this game we played, I was Donna Karan and she was my assistant, and I was really bossy.
