This Is Where You Can Buy Miley Cyrus HHF Clothing

by Stephanie Chon

Miley Cyrus has been uploading lots of pictures of her and her celeb friends wearing various smiley faced pieces of clothing. If you're wondering what that's all about, here's your answer: Miley Cyrus launched the Happy Hippie Foundation, a charity to fight against the homelessness of LGBT youths.

If you were wondering where Miley, Snoop, Justin Bieber, Kanye and North got their Happy Hippie Foundation hoodies and tees, here are the deets. You can cop the gear from Cyrus’ website or donate through Happy Hippie Foundation’s site. The net proceeds from hoodie and t-shirt sales will go towards Cyrus’ non-profit charity, Happy Hippie Foundation. This charity is set to clear the streets of rejected and abandoned youths who have chosen to identify themselves as a part of the LGBT community. Cyrus has often been judged by society because she decided not to be the "Hannah Montana" character that she started out as, which is why this is a very personal mission for her.

Cyrus opened up about her views on gender to Out this past Tuesday. She told them, “I didn’t want to be a boy. I kind of wanted to be nothing. I don’t relate to what people would say defines a girl or a boy, and I think that’s what I had to understand: Being a girl isn’t what I hate, it’s the box that I get put into.” And just as Cyrus is quickly judged by society for her identity choices, so are 640,000 LGBT youths who run away from home because their families reject their identity choices.

If you want to help spread the movement, you can donate on HHF’s website or even buy some Happy Hippie gear and post a picture of yourself in your new threads to rep the charity loud and proud. Don’t forget to hashtag #HappyHippie on Instagram!
