Who Is Jaime King's Husband Kyle Newman?

Jaime King has kind of been going through quite the renaissance, popping up on televisions screens and in your favorite actresses' friend circles over the past few years. Never far behind her is Jaime King's husband, Kyle Newman, who she has been married to since 2007. They seem to be pretty inseparable with, and it's really cute. A few months ago, King revealed that she was pregnant with their second child, and that the one and only Taylor Swift was to be the baby's godmother! Naturally, everyone wanted to know more about King and no doubt started asking who Kyle Newman was since, not only was he about to become a father again, he was popping up on Swift's super popular social media accounts.

Newman and King have been together for almost 10 years, and met when she had a small cameo in his film, Fanboys, in 2005. They almost immediately had a connection and King told InStyle of their whirlwind romance, "We started hanging out all the time... After one week, we were so close." Awww. So, now that we know they're still in love and welcoming their second baby, let's look at some other interesting tidbits about this talented guy.

He's directed some dreamy music videos

Yep, this is the dude who directed Taylor Swift's "Style" video, which received some mixed reviews from fans, but you can't deny that it is really pretty and cool change for Swift that goes in a more mature direction. His credits also include co-directing Lana Del Rey's "Summertime Sadness."

He is also a film director

In addition to the comedy Fanboys, Newman directed Barely Lethal, a film starring Sophie Turner, Jessica Alba, and Hailee Steinfeld. The film is slated to be released on May 29.

He's a huge Star Wars fan

Not only Fanboys about a group of Star Wars fanatics, but he is quite a big fan boy himself and isn't afraid to show it on social media.

He is one of Swift's unofficial personal photogs

I am sometimes known in my group of friends as the unofficial documenter since I can't help but take all the pictures, and Newman seems to have fallen into the category, as well. He obviously has a good eye and his friend group is pretty easy on the eyes, too. Lucky him.

He is BFFs with lots of talented ladies

Besides Swift, he and his wife have the most jealousy-inducing group of lady friends, and they are very proud to show that off. Jessica Alba is also godmother to their son, James.

Creative talent runs in his blood

His brother, Kevin Newman, is a character designer for both Futurama and The Simpsons. They must get to go to some really fun events!
