Today in "seems" legit news: Last night on Conan, Conan O'Brien aired a clip that he claimed was a "leaked trailer" for Batman vs. Superman movie that's set to star Ben Affleck as the tormented, brooding protector of Gotham City. It'll prove how perfect Affleck is for the role, he claimed. You'll love it, he also claimed.
Welp, turns out he was right: Ben Affleck will make the perfect Batman, if the film is anything like this trailer. And who knew Jennifer Lopez was in this thing too? Is this what Warner Bros. CEO Kevin Tsujihara meant when he said that Affleck's Batman would be "tired and weary and seasoned and been doing it for a while"? Probably. He kind of looks tired in these clips if you look closely, and definitely weary of Lopez's character using Thanksgiving to initiate sex. So, SEEMS LEGIT.
Seriously though: The clip is actually a collection of clips from the worst move to ever grace Hollywood, Gigli — a.k.a., the movie that nearly killed Affleck's career and probably the reason he and Lopez broke up. I can't imagine they felt too hot for each other after doing this ridiculously unsexy "gobble, gobble" scene over and over for the film.
