As the 68th Annual Cannes Film Festival soldiers on, the very pretty people in attendance continue the arduous task of wearing very pretty things. One of those pretty people, Marion Cotillard, wore an embellished minidress to the Cannes film festival today. It made her sparkle in the way that only very special people do.

The Oscar-winner walked the Macbeth premiere red carpet on Sunday showing a bit more skin than everyone else. Her Hollywood peers wore full-length gowns and massive shawls, but Cotillard opted for a strapless party dress that can easily be recycled for New Years Eve  festivities. Being that it's covered in blue and gold sequins, she might as well keep it on retainer for the Holidays. She kept the shiny theme going with a pair of silver lamé pumps and pearl earrings. The Dior spokeswoman wore her chestnut hair slicked down with a side part, which was a great choice for such a statement of a dress. As per usual, she looks gorgeous all around.

My one concern is that she may be a teensy bit cold. It does get breezy over there by the ocean. Then again, she can always ask Isabella Rossellini to borrow her scarf for a bit. I'm sure she wouldn't mind.
