Elizabeth Olson's 100% Headed To 'Avengers' Sequel

Look, we've known for a while that Elizabeth Olson will be playing Scarlet Witch in Avengers: Age Of Ultro n . Like, a long while. What we didn't have was an actual 100% confirmation of that casting. But now we do! Yay!

Olson made these comments in an interview with MTV, specifically in reference to her co-star Aaron Taylor-Johnson, who was recently confirmed for the Avengers sequel as Quicksilver:

[Aaron Taylor-Johson and I] get to play husband and wife [in Godzilla], and we get to play twin brother and sister [in Avengers: Age Of Ultron]. It’s also fun because even though in Godzilla we play husband and wife, we don’t have a lot of scenes together. I just love him. I love his family. I love his kids. I’m so excited we get to work with each other more and to actually work with each other. I think it’s going to be fun.

Once again we're just gonna breeze over that Godzilla remake mention and pretend that never happened. But the rest is cute! SO cute! We can't wait to see their weird semi-incesty twin relationship in Avengers*.

What she had to say about Avengers director Joss Whedon was pretty cute too: "He's very smart. He's too smart. He might be too smart. Some people are too smart for their own good, but he's amazing."

The last Avengers press tour practically bowled us over with how lovey the whole cast was with each other, so have no doubt that we are similarly psyched to see the group interviews that will come out of this next one.
