Nobody Likes Paula Deen Anymore

by Kate Ward

Paula Deen's ham-fisted rhetoric is continuing to get the Food Network TV personality in trouble. Deen, who was let go of her contract with the cable network Friday, has lost another supporter, ham company Smithfield after it was revealed she has used the n-word in the past.

Said a spokesperson for the company: "Smithfield condemns the use of offensive and discriminatory language and behavior of any kind. Therefore, we are terminating our partnership with Paula Deen. Smithfield is determined to be an ethical food industry leader and it is important that our values and those of our spokespeople are properly aligned."

Deen, who is set to appear on Today Wednesday to talk about her scandal, has been involved with Smithfield since 2006. The move makes way for who should be the rightful Smithfield sponsor:

Why the Queen of Jordan wasn't already selected for the role is not immediately clear.
