Vicky B's CFDAs Look Is All About Her Jewelry

by Marc Cuenco

A rainy night in New York City won't stop the queen of minimalist chic from slaying with her style. Victoria Beckham wore vintage statement necklaces to the 2015 CFDA Awards and proved why she's at the top of her game. Even though the designer was one of the last celebrities to arrive on the red carpet, she was truly worth the wait. Beckham's sleek black gown had a low neckline that showcased two gold necklaces from the Louisa Guiness gallery, which she layered on top of one another for a more dramatic effect.

According to Beckham, she recently discovered the British gallery owner's jewelry collection and was excited to showcase the pieces at the CFDA Awards. She chose a 1976 Boucheron and 1945 Line Bautrin from the collection. One of the necklaces featured a green geometric design while the other, made up of several gold chains, held a fish-shaped pendant. Both vintage pieces added a bit of whimsy and fun to Beckham's elegant and slinky LBD.

In keeping with her mix of uptown-meets-downtown style, Beckham wore her hair into a side pony. The loose, beachy bangs framed her face, which was made up to look fresh and dewy for the stylish event. Beckham arrived sans her husband David nor her fashionable children, but she was seen arm in arm with Vogue editor Hamish Bowles on the red carpet.
