What Your Favorite ‘Once Upon A Time’ Character Says About You, Because It’s The Only Personality Test You Need
One of the best things about Once Upon A Time is that there's a little something for everyone. You like fantasy? Got it. Drama more your style? It's there in spades. Romance? You bet! The storylines — and more importantly, the characters — are so varied and complicated that no matter who you are or what your history, there'll be someone in Storybrooke (or the Enchanted Forest) you can relate to and are drawn to for whatever reason. After all, while the series focuses on fairy tales, the writers and actors have done an amazing job in bringing the heroes and villains off the page and into the real world, giving them a humanity that's pretty incredible to watch.
When you peel away the magic and the fantasy, you're left with a group of people confronting the same issues we deal with every day: love, sadness, forgiveness... you get the drift. And each of the characters in Storybrooke each face their own struggles with those issues in different ways. So whether it's the Savior you love or Rumpelstiltskin you love to hate, your favorite Once Upon A Time character totally says something about who you are, and I'm here to tell you what that is. This is a very serious subject, after all.
You often feel as though you're carrying the weight of the world on your shoulders, and it's a responsibility you take seriously — perhaps a little too seriously, as you've often been told. You're fiercely loyal and believe in standing up for what's right, no matter what obstacles you might face. You've been through a lot of tough times in your life, but you're determined not to let your past define you and actively work to continue growing as a person.
You have dealt with a devastating heartbreak at some point in your life, and the resulting pain and darkness may have threatened to overtake you until you decided to fight back. You often keep yourself closed off, likely believing that avoiding emotional entanglement will keep you from getting hurt, though you've recently discovered that doing this has made you miss out on much of life's pleasure. You believe in redemption and second chances, and your strength of character and your desire to prove yourself guides much of what you do.
You, like Henry, have the heart of the truest believer. You have faith in the unseen and never wane in your belief, even when others tell you it's a lost cause. You are certain that good always triumphs over evil and try to encourage those around you to do the right thing, acting as a voice of reason and good conscience when the people you know need it most.
You're a bit of a hopeless romantic and tend to see the world through rose-tinted glasses. While you know that darkness exists in the world, you're a 'glass half full' person and believe that things always work out for the best, no matter how difficult they may seem at first. You think that attitude is half the battle and if you put good thoughts into the world, you'll attract the things you want in life.
You value honor above all else and will run headfirst into the fight if it means proving your ability to defeat any foe. You are also a believer in true love and always vow never to give up on that which captures your heart, no matter how long it takes to make things right.
You understand what it means to experience true regret, and you've spent much of your life making up for bad decisions you've made years ago. You want to do the right thing, but often find yourself overwhelmed by a lack of courage that threatens to overtake you if you let it. If you can find the strength to overcome the temptation to take the easy way out, you'll be more powerful than you realize.
Hook / Killian Jones
You're more than a bit of a rebel, but underneath your tough exterior, you're really a bit of a teddy bear that's longing for love and comfort from someone you can put your trust into. No one would really know you've got such a romantic side from looking at you, but you're one of the most supportive and patient partners anyone could have, and you've seen how love can change a person because it changed you.
You're often torn between what your heart desires and what your head tells you is the right thing to do, and that indecision often leads to other people getting hurt. You often find yourself thinking about how unfair life is and wishing that the playing field was more even so that everyone could have what they want and need in life. You're a bit of an idealist and could probably use a little wake-up call, but your dreamy nature can be one of your more charming qualities.
